Southmoore has established itself as the premier public golf course in the Lehigh Valley and Eastern Pennsylvania, offering country club conditions at public club prices. Its reputation attracts golfers from all over the region. Southmoore has so much to offer. The clubhouse has proven to be a delight for everyone offering an expansive and fully stocked pro shop, golfers lounge, restaurant and outing pavilion. The course has hosted the PGA Maxfli Junior Championship Qualifier, the Philadelphia PGA Assistant's Championship and hosted the Open qualifying for the Nike Lehigh Valley Open in June 1999.

Jim Muschlitz Golf Academy

Jim has been a professional for 22 years and has worked with David Leadbetter's staff for 10 years. Jim has also worked with sports psychologists Dr. Coop, Dr. Cook and Chuck Hogan. Some of Jim's playing accomplishments include eight-time Bethlehem City Champion, four-time Lehigh Valley Amateur Champion, 1981 United States Amateur Qualifer, 1985 United States Publinks Qualifier, and 1993,1996 & 1999 Nike Tour events.
